So Whatcha Whatcha Whatcha Want?

I really just wanted to remove the 2014 Journal entry I had on my page while not wanting to remove the Jornal widget from my page. Solution? Write a new Journal entry!

So what's new?

I've been trying to monetize other aspects of comic book creation I can do (moderately) well such as lettering and book design. I did a cover for someone and I am in the middle-end of coloring a book for a client.

Oh and coloring for people is tough. ha ha ha...

I had no misconceptions to the contrary, but it's one of those things where you say "I really have a lot more respect for the men and women who..." after doing it. I mean, it's not fighting a war or digging ditches, but in the scope of what we do as artists, there's a lot of "geez, get to it already" involved. 

I'm also continuing to write and draw my own stuff. Nothing has come out yet, but I'm feathering my nests at Patreon and Tapastic as we speak. Watch this space...

I really do enjoy self-publishing. The strange part is I like all the prepress stuff and the releasing on different platforms BETTER than the drawing bit. That's amazing considering I'm just the guy who drew superheroes in my Dad's old sketchbooks.

Anyway, I'll keep trying to post on here, or you can check my Facebook, Tumblr, Instagram, Twitter or LeighWalls.com for more info and little drawings and such. Bloody Pulp Magazine is still up but I have to update it.  Maybe that will be the home for whatever I do for inktober.
